Support That Builds Real Life Skills

Next Step Skills provides individualized support for teens and young adults with autism who need support with executive functioning and everyday life skills.

This is not about managing behavior.
It is about understanding how each person experiences the world and helping them build the skills they need for independence.

In - Person Support

All sessions are conducted in person. Serving Rockland County, Westchester County and North Bergen County.

Face-to-face work allows for stronger connection, real-time support, and practical skill-building that carries into daily life.

Relationship - Based Approach

Progress begins with trust.

Support is built on a genuine relationship, where each individual feels understood and accepted. When that foundation is in place, meaningful growth can happen.

We also recognize and affirm young people who experience demand avoidance; support is focused on understanding their need for autonomy and building trust rather than enforcing compliance.

Getting Started

We begin with an initial free meeting to get to know each other.

This is not a formal consultation.
The goal is simply to understand your child and determine if this is a good fit.

A short questionnaire is completed beforehand to provide helpful background.

Rates

Session rates generally range from $150–$180, depending on location and the level of individualized support needed.
Additional material costs may apply.
